over the past 72 hours, I only slept about 10 hours combined.

Hey Folks, How is your week?

My week is kind of a bit boring, and there are not many existing things going on. I’m simply working on the things that I need to do.

This week, I faced some problems in terms of health, team, and some mental pressure. I remember that, over the past 72 hours, I only slept about 10 hours combined.

To be honest, I’m having a lot of headaches with finding the right team. People say that there is a recession going on and there are no jobs, but this is not true; I think I got more than five messages from the founders that said, do you know any good developer so that I can hire them?

The problem here is not the jobs but the skills; if you don’t have the right skills and just wait for the jobs to come, then you might end up just waiting since the world is changing so fast, and with the advancement of AI, the way we work is completely going to change.

If the companies want to teach you how to do things and pay a salary, then they mostly prefer the computer to teach, which means Agents and automation, and there is a minimal recurring charge, which is way less than the salaries.

I know it’s kind of lecturing, but I care about you since you have subscribed and came into the family 🏡

Highlights of this week 💫

I don’t consider this week as a highlight, but I’m mentioning some of the good things that happened.

  • As you might know I love reading books, these 10 days were really boring since I don’t have any books in my hand, and I don’t like reading on the screen, but finally I got all my books back to the room that I sifted.

  • There are a lot of clashes between the teams, but things are going well. I can’t say they are great, but the work is going.

  • I’m traveling a lot these days. One thing I’ve noticed is that Those who don’t have a big home will sleep more peacefully than a person who has a big house.

  • You will get what you deserve not what you want.

Learnings of the Week 🌱

  • One of the most important things that I’ve learned this week is that having a good team is really important in any work that you do, and these days, I’m really struggling to get good team members; this is not easy. It's not all about about the character, how he or she behaves or responds. There are a lot of things that come to the table when you want the best team.

  • You can’t decide or judge the person in the present day or situation. I can’t go into more detail, but I had a weird feeling when I was working with a stranger one day. when we started working together, it completely changed my thinking about that person, and I felt bad about judging that person back then.

  • I thought that people mostly work for the sake of salary, but that’s not true; one of the previous video editors quit because he was busy with his coursework and said sir, I can’t work. I thought okay, but later, I was really struggling to get a good video editor who is responsible like him, and I still can’t find one to date. It's not about the skills, but being responsible for things is the greatest asset you can bring to the table.

I thought it was about the money, so I asked do you needed more salary, and he replied, Sir, It’s not about the money… I had a feeling that this was the guy I needed, but yeah, you won’t get all the things that you want.

  • I read this from the book “ Who Will Cry When You Die “ When I was growing up, my father said something to me I will never forget, “ Son, when you are born, you cried while the world rejoiced; live your life in such a way that when you die the world cries while you rejoice.'“ we live in an age when we have forgotten what life is all about, we can easily put a person on the moon, but we have trouble walking across the street to meet a new neighbor.

yesterday, I made a reel on the same topic; you know it doesn’t cost you any money to smile at a stranger who walks you near buy, maybe that smile can make a whole day for them.

Book Summary 📖

Last week, I was traveling, so I started the book “ The Dairy of a CEO “ by Steven Bartlett on my mobile. But as you know, I don’t like to read books on screen, so I stopped it. and started reading “ Who Will Cry When You Die” by Robin Sharma.

It’s a strange question that you need to ask yourself: who will cry when I die? All the people you think are friends may not be real friends, and all the enemies that you think are not real enemies. the time changes the rock to a diamond.

These are some of the best points from the book that I found useful and worth sharing:

  • Everyone who enters your life has a lesson to teach and a story to tell.

  • Showing kindness to another person is the rent you pay for the space we occupy on this planet.

  • The tougher you are on yourself, the easier life will be for you.

  • The most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not.

  • I have always been confused between the Journal and Dairy, and this book answers my question; a journal is not a diary; a diary is a place where you record events, while a journal is a place where you analyze and evaluate them.

  • Being honest with yourself is the best price you pay for yourself.

  • Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.

  • The Way you begin your day determines the way you will live your day.

  • Learning to NO to the non-essentials will give you more time to devote to the things that are essential to you.

Person of the Week 👤

The Person of this Week is Daniel Lenton, who was the founder and CEO of Unify.ai.

Recently, he has raised $8M for his company, and they built a router that gives you the best LLM model for your prompt, which is kind a really interesting.

He started Ivy as a part-time project while pursuing his Ph.D from Imperial College London, which turned into a YC-founded startup that has grown into a community with over 20,000 members in Discord and more than 1300 open-source contributors.

His story is really inspiring for the young entrepreneur, and apart from work, he is a really kind person.

I would really appreciate him; although he is super busy with his work and has been happy that he has raised $8M, he still remembers me and personally emailed me.

I did a podcast with Daniel a few weeks ago; if you didn’t watch that, here is the link - Watch here.

You can learn more about his startup and his fundraising here.

My 3 Favourite Quotes 💙

The Successful person has the Habit of doing the things failures don’t like to do.

Every minute you spend worrying about your problems, you take away from finding solutions
